Jose Javier Cordero Holguin
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Jose Javier brings 15 years of financial infrastructure experience from Visa, Transferwise, and BBVA Innovation Labs. He founded Paymonx after seeing first-hand how outdated correspondent banking rails were costing businesses billions in fees and days in settlement delays. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School and is based in Barcelona.
Michael Torres
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Michael led platform engineering at Stripe and Adyen before co-founding Paymonx. He architected the core PayAPI routing engine, which currently processes over 50,000 transactions per minute with sub-second latency. Michael holds a Computer Science degree from MIT and is based in San Francisco.
Sarah Chen
Chief Product Officer
Sarah joined Paymonx from Square, where she led the international product expansion across Asia-Pacific. She drives Paymonx's product roadmap with a relentless focus on developer experience and enterprise onboarding. Sarah holds a degree in Product Design from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Wharton.
David Okonkwo
VP of Partnerships & Business Development
David built the global partnerships network at Flutterwave before joining Paymonx to lead corridor expansion and banking relationships. He has negotiated payment agreements with over 40 local banking partners across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. David is based in Lagos and London.
